International SEO Packages and Pricing in Dubai
Dubai guides we reviewed in 2026 put international SEO at roughly AED 10,000 to 50,000 per month, depending on the number of countries and the competition in each (Global Media Insight), while general small and medium business SEO retainers run about AED 3,000 to 8,000 (Prism Digital). One multilingual quote example listed hreflang setup alone at AED 3,600 (Kolonell). Our packages start below those entry points so smaller exporters can begin with one market.

International, Multilingual or Multi-Regional SEO?
Multilingual SEO is about several languages, for example Arabic and English for customers in the UAE. Multi-regional SEO is about several countries, sometimes in the same language, for example English pages for the UAE, Saudi Arabia and the UK. International SEO covers both. If you only serve the UAE in English and Arabic, you need a correct bilingual setup rather than a multi-country programme, and we will tell you so.
Choosing a Site Structure
| Structure | Example | Advantages | Drawbacks |
|---|---|---|---|
| Country domains | example.ae, example.co.uk | Strongest country signal and local trust | Highest cost, each domain builds authority separately, more upkeep |
| Subfolders | example.com/en-ae/, example.com/ar-sa/ | One domain shares authority, simplest to run, lowest cost | Weaker country signal than a country domain |
| Subdomains | ae.example.com | Can sit on separate servers | Usually needs more work to build authority than subfolders |
For most small and medium businesses we recommend subfolders on one domain, unless you already own country domains or need a strong local presence.
Hreflang Done Right
Hreflang tells Google which language or country version of a page to show. It is easy to get wrong. One SEO vendor study (LinkGraph) found that over 65 percent of international sites have significant hreflang errors, most often missing return links, wrong language codes and conflicts with canonical tags. These are the rules we follow, based on Google's guidance:
- Use a language code (ISO 639-1) with an optional country code (ISO 3166-1 alpha 2), such as en-ae, ar-ae or ar-sa. A country code alone is not valid.
- Every page lists itself and all of its alternate versions.
- Links must be reciprocal: if page A points to page B, page B must point back, or Google ignores the pair.
- Add an x-default version as a fallback for visitors who match none of your versions.
- Alternate URLs must load normally, not redirect or return errors.
- Use one method per page: HTML tags, an XML sitemap or HTTP headers.
Example of the HTML method for a UAE site in English and Arabic:
<link rel="alternate" hreflang="en-ae" href="https://example.com/en-ae/" /> <link rel="alternate" hreflang="ar-ae" href="https://example.com/ar-ae/" /> <link rel="alternate" hreflang="x-default" href="https://example.com/" />
Technical problems often sit behind hreflang issues. See our technical SEO in Dubai service for audits and fixes.
Arabic, GCC and Global Markets
Arabic and English searchers in the same country often use different words, and the same product can be searched differently in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman. We research each market and language separately instead of copying one keyword list across countries. For markets outside the GCC, we scope each country during the audit.
Localisation, Not Just Translation
Google's spam policy once listed text translated by an automated tool without human review as spam. In 2024 Google removed its advice to block auto-translated pages, and now judges translated pages by how useful they are, with its scaled content abuse policy still in force. The practical lesson is the same: translated pages need human review and real value.
We localise rather than just translate. That means local search terms, correct currency and units, local examples and wording that sounds natural to a native reader, reviewed by a person before publishing.
International SEO and AI Search
AI tools draw on the same public pages as search engines, and the answers can differ by language and country. Clear language versions, consistent business details across every version and content that is present in the HTML your server delivers all help. No setup can guarantee a mention in ChatGPT, Gemini or Google AI Overviews.
Who International SEO Is For
- Exporters, re-exporters and trading companies selling beyond the UAE
- Online stores shipping to the GCC or further. See ecommerce development in Dubai
- Real estate and hospitality brands attracting international buyers and guests
- Service businesses serving Arabic and English speakers across the Gulf
Is Hyperlinkes the Right Fit?
We are a good fit if you are a small or medium business entering one to three new markets, you want a clear fixed price and you are comfortable working over video calls and WhatsApp.
A larger agency may suit you better if you need native in-market teams in many countries, local PR and link building in each country, or five or more languages at once. We would rather tell you that upfront.
How We Work
- Goals and markets. We agree which countries and languages to target and why.
- Audit. We review your current structure, hreflang, canonicals and indexing.

International SEO FAQs
What is international SEO?
International SEO is the work of making your website show up in search results in other countries or languages. It covers site structure, hreflang tags, keyword research for each market and localised content.
How much does international SEO cost in Dubai?
Dubai guides we reviewed in 2026 put international SEO at roughly AED 10,000 to 50,000 per month. Our audit and hreflang setup starts at AED 2,999, and monthly plans start at AED 2,999 for one market and AED 5,499 for up to three markets, excluding VAT.
Is translation enough for international markets?
Usually not. Translated pages also need local search terms, correct currency and units, and wording that reads naturally. Google judges translated pages on how useful they are, and text translated by a tool without human review is risky.
How long until international SEO shows results?
Dubai SEO guides cite about 3 to 6 months for general SEO and 6 to 12 months for competitive or technically damaged sites. A new market is a fresh start, so plan for 6 to 12 months or more for meaningful traffic, and we review progress with you at 90 days.
Do I need hreflang?
Yes, if you have different versions of the same page for different languages or countries. A single-language site for one country does not need it.
Should I use country domains, subfolders or subdomains?
For most small and medium businesses, subfolders on one domain are the simplest and cheapest, and they share authority. Country domains give the strongest local signal but cost more to run. We recommend one after learning your markets and budget.
Can you do Arabic SEO as well as English?
Yes. We research Arabic and English keywords separately and set up hreflang so each version is shown to the right audience.
Which countries can you target?
We research UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman, and we scope any other country during the audit. For in-country PR or link building we may recommend a local partner.
Can Google penalise machine-translated content?
Google no longer treats all machine translation as spam and focuses on usefulness. It still targets low-value pages mass-produced to manipulate rankings. We always have a person review and improve translated content before publishing.
Can you implement hreflang on my existing website?
Yes, depending on access. On sites we build, we can implement it directly. On other platforms we provide developer-ready instructions or work with your developer, then validate the result.
Will international SEO help me appear in ChatGPT and Google AI answers?
It can help, because clear language versions and consistent details are easier for search tools to understand. Nobody can guarantee a mention.
Do you have an office in Dubai?
No. We work with Dubai clients remotely from Udaipur, India, through video calls and WhatsApp. Dubai is only 1.5 hours behind India, so scheduling is easy.
